DESCRIPTION:Please join the Cape Breton Regional Chamber of Commerce to celebrate the 2019 Cape Breton Business and Philanthropy Hall of Fame inductees on May 22 at the Membertou Trade and Convention Centre. \n\nThis evening of celebration recognizes the accomplishments and contributions of Cape Breton's most outstanding business leaders and philanthropists who will be recognized as our community leaders and builders that embody the highest form of entrepreneurial spirit\, personal integrity and social consciousness.\n\nThe 2019 laureates for the Business Hall of Fame are Mr. Bill Mozvik\, Founder and Owner\, R & A Paper\, as well as owner of Smitty?s Family Restaurant and Habaneros\; Ms. Sheila Gillis\, Founding Partner\, MGM & Associates\; and Mr. and Mrs. Jim and Lori Kennedy\, Founders and Owners\, Louisbourg Seafoods Group of Companies. Mr. John Eyking and his late wife Jeanne Eyking will be inducted into the Philanthropy Hall of Fame.\n\nCelebrating these esteemed laureates provides inspiration for the generations that follow. Proceeds from the evening are awarded to students at Cape Breton University's Shannon School of Business in the form of scholarships and bursaries in honour of the Hall of Fame inductees. These awards are presented to students who exhibit the highest level of entrepreneurial drive\, leadership and sense of community while attending CBU. \n\nPart of the proceeds of the gala support scholarships and bursaries for students enrolled in the Shannon School of Business at Cape Breton University. \n\nThank you for helping make a difference in the lives of our future business leaders.
