About Us
The Cape Breton Food Hub makes it easy to get local food from producers to consumers. We provide the infrastructure and distribution to link over 40 food producers with households and restaurants across the island. Each week our producers list their products and consumers order on-line between Friday and Monday. Then on Thursdays consumers will be able to pick up their fresh items from one of our centrally located hubs. Products include vegetables, meat, seafood, baked goods, and value-added products from across Cape Breton. We also engage in educational and social activities to build a more resilient and connected community around food!
